Neal Andrews

Neal Andrews

Founder

Neal Andrews founded Andrews-Cooper in 2000 after a successful career as a mechanical engineer at Hewlett-Packard. He has over 30 years of experience in product design and the engineering of automated assembly equipment. Neal is proficient in finding strategic optimization - creating the best solution possible for a given set of requirements. He currently balances running a small business with practicing engineering. Mr. Andrews received his Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Oregon State University.


Steve Cooper

Steve Cooper

Founder

Steve Cooper founded Andrews-Cooper in 2000 after a successful career as a mechanical engineer in the Telecommunications industry then at Hewlett-Packard. He has a passion for solving complex problems with elegant design. Having successfully participated in the development of over a 100 products, Steve’s present focus is to provide A-C project teams with strategic planning and technical oversight. Mr. Cooper earned his Bachelor and Master of Science degrees in Mechanical Engineering from Brigham Young University.


Joe Harsany

Joe Harsany

VP, Product Development

Joe leads our Product Development practice on the West Coast. He has 15 years experience in product development, including roles in leadership through intricate design and engineering. His projects have ranged from full product development cycles through specific engagements for clients in need of discrete mechanism design, sheet metal structures, and injection mold parts. He has been involved and is credited with work on 5 patented designs. Mr. Harsany received his Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Oregon State University.


Tyler Smith

Tyler Smith

VP, Automation

Tyler leads our Automation practice. Over the course of twelve years at Andrews-Cooper, Tyler’s group has designed and delivered over 200 automation projects for companies in industries as diverse as medical device, consumer, and semi-conductor to name a few. He has deep expertise in the design, development, and delivery of custom automated manufacturing and test solutions. Tyler is passionate about working with a cooperative team to resolve the most challenging engineering problems. Mr. Smith received his Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Oregon State University.


Norm Delisle

Norm Delisle

VP, Engineering

Norm Delisle is the VP of Engineering at Andrews-Cooper. He oversees our client projects and manages our QMS. He has developed numerous successful products during his career ranging from medical devices, consumer products, automated manufacturing systems, transportation systems, electronic instrumentation, and a variety of software applications. His Systems Engineering focus is built on extensive experience in general management, project management and software and electrical engineering. Mr. Delisle is a seasoned consultant, mentor and public speaker, and has taught graduate courses and corporate training seminars in quality management, project management, and software engineering.
