National Society of Black Engineers (NSBE)

Andrews Cooper & NSBE

AC has a history of open houses due to our close proximity to OSU (Go Beavs!). In 2019, prior to the pandemic sending us home, We were able to host an incredible group of young engineers from our local NSBE chapter.

“The National Society of Black Engineers (NSBE) is one of the largest student-governed organizations based in the United States. NSBE, founded in 1975, supports and promotes the aspirations of collegiate and pre-collegiate students and technical professionals in engineering and technology.” – NSBE

On Saturday, 11/14/2020, AC participated in a regional career fair online for NSBE. Together we created a breakout rooms on Zoom to meet with candidates individually and got to know a ton of talent engineers across the country. Thank you to Rob Smithlin, Sam House, Aevyrie Roessler, Peter van Tamelen, Ronnie Das, Rachel Challis, and Levi Haupt for joining recruiting for a fun filled day. We look forward to working with NSBE in person in the future and continue to seek opportunities virtually in the meantime.
